Here is your chance to get a sneak peek at the MIXXER FabLab and Wood Shop. Come have some free pizza and soft drinks while you tell us what you would like to see in the FabLab and Wood Shop, or learn about the FabLab and Wood Shop we are planning. Habitat for Humanity has offered the use of their woodworking shop for this event on Tuesday, September 19th.
Habitat for Humanity is partnering with MIXXER to give you a chance to get involved. Community Design Studio is also partnering with us to facilitate a community design session that will give you the chance to tell us what you need in a FabLab and Wood Shop or learn what the FabLab and Wood Shop will look like. The event starts at 5:30 pm at the main office of Habitat Forsyth at 1023 W 14th St, Winston-Salem, NC 27105, and will end at 8 pm. Come out anytime during that session to be a part of creating your makerspace. Did we mention the free pizza?
Do you need childcare to attend this event? If so contact us: email@example.com , and let us know your needs.
